The starting point of our route is the little slovenian harbor town of Izola. The city centre, former being an island and now completely included to the rest of the town, will allow you to make your first step back in time. The historic centre of the town is riddled with medieval alleyways and has a long and tumultuous history besides its ancient fishermen culture.

Just a few hops and skips over the waves and we’re already in Piran, also a slovenian harbourtown, but full of nightlife and an impeccably beautiful venetian style of architecture. Stroll around the marina or make your way to the town’s square and choose one of these delicious local restaurants or have a few in a bar. A welcome stop before having your first overnighter in a yacht cabin.

The city of Portoroz serves us as an alternate starting point with its luxurious marina and perfect accessibility via highway. Plenty of shopping and even a good number of culinary highlights are to be found - and if you fancy a longer stay after the route, the town attracts with wellness hotels and its hot springs.

Surely the oldest town on our route and with a rich history that dates back to the antiquity. Giant stone walls and pretty little alleyways full of colorful building are only two of Novigrads features.

Next to Rovinj and Pula, the most important city of Istria - Porec. The old town is full of sights to discover, many churches from different times and plenty of buildings in various styles of medieval architecture - a whole lot to discover while just strolling around. And for those among you, who were looking for a delicious dinner with an unmatchable view, the island right off Porecs shore Sveti Nikola flaunts your with its gourmet restaurants and really welcoming bars - this island is a man-made paradise.

Welcome in the town of Rovinj, what might be Croatia’s most popular postcard scene. Atop the ancient venetian town is the famous baroque church of the Holy Euphemia. Trickling down from the beautiful church are crooked and bumpy narrow alleyways riddled with restaurants and bars. The well-preserved streets in the town centre are inviting with stores and boutiques. Really one of Istria’s most beautiful towns and hub for culinary specialties of the region.
