Combining yoga & sailing allows you to take a unique holiday by sea connecting the mind, body & spirit back to nature. Through a combination of strengthening but gentle Yoga poses & sequences, breathing practices & guided meditation, one can rejuvenate themselves in natural surroundings. The breathtaking country of Croatia has so much to offer with over 1200 islands, natural reserves & landscapes full of mountains & natural bays.  Croatia offers the perfect place for exploration & relaxation.

About Rebecca

Our yoga retreat by sea would be hosted by certified yoga instructor & yacht hostess, Rebecca. Rebecca, an American now living in Croatia, has been practicing yoga since 2010 & has also been preparing the best meals at sea since 2017. She is passionate about sharing yoga with others & serving mouthwatering meals for guests onboard. During your time together, Rebecca will prepare light breakfasts & delicious lunches everyday, keep the interior yacht tidy & guide meditation & yoga classes while immersed in nature.

An Hour of Yoga Practice Daily

Just imagine every day starting with an invigorating Yoga class in the early morning hours. Class would take place on land at predetermined locations overlooking the sea or beautiful landscapes.  The yoga session begins with a short breathing practice for relaxation followed by meditation. Then the class flows into different poses focused on connecting the breathe with each movement or holding a pose & breathing in place. Classes are suitable for beginners or more experienced practitioners as demonstration of poses, adjustments & guidance throughout can be expected.  All levels are welcome. Class closes with a lying down guided meditation that offers deep relaxation & restoration, fully recharging you for the day ahead.

Healthy Breakfast & Delicious Lunch

Breakfast & lunch are typically served buffet-style with a Mediterranean taste your tastebuds will love. A vegetarian diet is suggested for the week but we are happy to serve meats, poultry & so on for those interested & we request to know of any dietary restrictions in advance. Dinners are on shore with plenty of suggestions throughout the week at local restaurants, mostly family owned serving that day's fresh caught seafood. Think lobsters, octopus salads & grilled fish. Highly recommended is Croatia’s seafood & a must try is peka. Peka is slow cooked for hours in steel pots in a brick outdoor oven, combined with delicious seasonings & vegetables. You will not regret it! All these options are perfect opportunities to taste the best of Croatia.

Optional Tours & Activities

Throughout your trip, fun activities or tours will be recommended to further take in the excitement of a new destination. Wine tastings, military tours, blue caves, scooter rentals, kayaking, water activities, excursions, etc. Prior to arriving at each location, information will be provided about what's available in the area. However, each day, you'll have a chance to snorkel, float in the sea or bask in the sun if that's more your speed.
